Welcome to Assured Energy
Every penny counts for small businesses and the energy spend of newsagents is no different.
Value for money is the order of the day and Assured Energy can find them a supplier offering competitive rates, which can majorly benefit Federation of Independent Retailers (Fed) members.
On average, Fed members are making cost savings of £1,862, per contract, through utilising Assured Energy as a trusted consultant.
This was the case for F & N News, in Wolverhampton, who came on board after being referred by their Fed representative, which was a seamless process.

Shopkeeper Mr Kin Heung said: “I had a fantastic experience working with Anthony Gayle (consultant, Assured Energy). He has helped me to save over £700 in one year alone.
“The service that I received was professional and stress-free. I would highly recommend working with Anthony and Assured Energy.”
Further Fed members are actively putting the expertise of Assured Energy to good use, which is giving them a distinct advantage.
Anthony’s input has also seen Premier Essentials, in Huddersfield, agree to a supply contract at almost £950 cheaper per year.
Another newsagent, Westcott News in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, was left worrying when their energy costs suddenly increased, with no budging from the provider.
They had received notification that their previous energy supplier was increasing the daily standing charge, from 30p to more than £5.
This came as a shock to Jeffrey Raine, of Westcott News, who called the Fed’s contact centre to see if there were alternatives available.
The Fed put Jeffrey in touch with Assured Energy, resulting in a saving of nearly £2,000. Better still, their new terms didn’t contain any daily standing rate.
Jeffrey added: “I am over the moon, my previous provider said I wouldn’t find anywhere cheaper! I am hoping to use the extra money to buy stock, or just save it up for a rainy day.”
NDPL Management Limited, a fellow FED member, additionally saw their business energy bills drop by £8,900, thanks to Assured Energy.
They were paying high rates, but are now under a cost-effective supply contract. The client was so pleased that they asked to be quoted for other sites.
Over £2,000 of savings have been secured for a second premises with a third location, which is in progress, also set to see their tariff drop.
Jacks Best One in Rainhill, Merseyside, weren’t aware that the Fed had close links to an energy consultant, when they called regarding a different issue.
Jeganathan Muraleetharan, who runs the store, was searching for a new energy supplier, though, and is now saving almost £1,800 a year, because of Assured Energy’s input.

New members joining the Fed are finding out how Assured Energy can be an asset to them, too, such as the Kirby-le-Soken Post Office, in Frinton-On-Sea.
They were visited by the Fed after signing up. Assured Energy were recommended and, over two years, they will save around £2,200 on their supply terms.
Mrs Vaishali Patel, of the Post Office, said: “We had a good experience with Assured, who were knowledgeable and answered all my questions.
“We will either re-invest our savings into the business or save it up.”
Christopher Erazua advised the Fed that his contracts were coming up for renewal at two of his Lifestyle Express stores in Hamilton, Scotland.
He got in touch with Assured Energy and will save a total of £4,500 over three years, split over two locations, which is £750 for each store per year.
